Section 1: How to cover Microbiology in one day

“FCPS Pretest Series” never suggests short-cuts but if you are short of time and you are already thinking about skipping Microbiology, then this method may help you.

Step 1: Mark all MCQs of one chapter (e.g; Bacteriology) from “FCPS Pretest Series – Minor subjects” in first aid. (Microbiology is arranged chapter-wise in “FCPS Pretest Series – Minor Subjects” book).

Step 2: Literally memorize only the marked stuff.

Step 3: . How to check whether this method is effective or not

Take about two complete papers of your speciality. Do Microbiology MCQs from those papers. If your score is 70% or above, it means that you have successfully covered Microbiology.

NOTE: This same method can be used for all minor subjects. To know how to cover Pharmacology in one day (if you are short of time, click here (link will open in  a new tab)

Section 2: Microbiology MCQs (from “FCPS Pretest Series – Minor Subjects” book) marked in first aid

Note:

  1. Every thing that is written with blue link is an MCQ.
  2. Wherever there is a “tick mark”, is an MCQ.
  3. Any thing else are not MCQs.
  4. When you are reading MCQs, and some point has not already been marked, mark it in your book.
  5. You must give at least one read to microbiology MCQs to get an idea which kind of MCQs are being asked, and to mark any missing MCQ in your first aid book.

Be nice whenever possible. It is always possible.
